Tony Gale says we've made £100m profit in next accounts
Good old Del & Grandad, this time next year there should be enough for their usual loans and freebies and to buy the LS from Khan with enough left over to dig down and bring the stands closer to the pitch.

Sky Sports

They are talking about making a £43 million profit and I believe it may be as high as £100 million when the next accounts come out. We have to see how much cash they are ready to spend – they have to splash big.

“They have to make marquee signings rather than loan signings. The fans want to see good footballers playing good football.”

If you get the chance perhaps you can ask Reggie if it was him that orchestrated the crowd trouble at the weekend when the penalty shoot out was interrupted for half an hour. Walton finally beat Corinthian Casuals 4-2 on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Stoke 's biggest mistake was letting Hughes stay on too long, he then goes to Southampton and keeps them up, how does that work

If I'm wrong someone will correct me but, don't our glorious leaders earn a decent % from the money they've borrowed us, so if there's some money spare use it to pay some of their loan off, then they would have to go out and earn from a proper job!

Walton Casuals have recently won their play off final to get into the Ryman Prem. And Dulwich Hamlet have won their play off to get into Conference South, going up with Billericay.

Gale's old man was a taxi driver, so he will be well versed in paying taxes etc

Tony Gale and his son are keeping Walton Casuals afloat. I've never watched them in action but they are not too far away from National League standard I would guess.
I'm willing to bet he knows as much as the two dildos do in how to run a football club and do it in an honest way.

When he used to go full on faux outrage.

It was funny because he's clearly an absolute mincer in real life.

It's your fifth sentence that makes the difference, mate.

But you're probably right, though.

Didn't our board apologise ?

Didn't they say they were going to learn from their mistakes ?

Didn't they say that Sullivan was taking a step backwards from transfers ?

Didn't they identify the need for a director of football ?

Didn't they say all that ...... and 5 mins later they said that there would be no director of football !?!

I wouldn't trust any of those cunts with anything

Re: Tony Gale says we've made £100m profit in next accounts
To be fair to the Stoke owners, they are not seeking to avoid their share of the blame and, from my perspective, the reasons for failure that they identify (correctly interpreted by w4hammer and, if a little uncharitably by ironduke) are correct.

In short, they have told the truth, admitted their mistakes. apologised and stated that they will learn from their errors. I think Stoke fans will understand this. Our own owners could learn a lesson here.

Which is all a bit of a shame, since I have always regarded their chairman as a massive prick. Perhaps at some point he will also admit he had his head up his arse about Brexit*

To be fair ED, the money you spend to go to West Ham is heavily subsidised by the tax payer because for some reason we need to keep you lot alive. No idea why.

Be thankful.

What everyone has to remember about Alex V, is that money surrounding the club doesn't bother him. The reason being he doesn't spend a fucking penny on watching the club.

Those of us that spend money watching the club want to see the greedy cunt owners invest back into the club properly.

Good businessmen, atrocious football club owners.

Only need to look at both Birmingham and us to see that.

Alex, it may be simplistic nonsense to you. But what he actually does is two things:

1) Tell the truth. The owners are making big profits and they are not using it to invest properly in the squad. Which was what they said they would do.

2) Keep's the pressure on them. And keep's them in the spotlight to try to ensure they do what they said they would. Which helps us.

You can keep posting your boring, contrary posts on here but what Gale has said there will do more for West Ham than you could ever do.

So what Stoke are saying is that their biggest mistakes were trying to become an entertaining team, wanting to finish higher up the table, and sticking with their manager for too long.

Really, their mistake was not having any real recruitment plan and allowing Hughes to spend a load of money on shit. That is what we need to avoid as one more bad transfer window could do it for us.
